OUR HISTORY
Thuto Tsebo Public school was officially opened on the 22 February 1990. It was opened because the only township primary school by then, Lindley Community School (Fateng sa Thuto) was overcrowded. The enrollment of the school was 336 and they were housed at the old railway hostel known as motjhantji. The first principal of the school was Mr Lehoko S.S. He was assisted by six lady teachers namely, Mrs Nathane N.E, Miss Sehume M.D, Miss Mthini N.C, Miss Pitso D.M, Miss Hlahane R.T and Miss Sinxezi N.A.
On the 13 August 1990 Mr Lehoko S.S was called to higher service. Mr Mosupa L.A. was appointed to be the principal and he resumed his duty on the 02 October 1990. Under his leadership the first School Management Team was appointed to help in managing the school. The team was appointed in 1999 and comprise of Mr Nkomo M.K.(Deputy Principal), Me Mahlasela M.R (Departmental Head) and Mr Kambule M.M (Departmental Head). He led the school for 23 years until his retirement in 2013. Messrs Lehoko S.S and Mosupa L.A has laid a good foundation and we honor them for that.
On the 24 April 2013, Mr Kambule M.M was appointed as the principal. Like his predecessors he worked hard to ensure that the school delivers its main objectives of teaching and learning. Today the school has an enrolment of 1460 with 42 teaching staff, 06 Non educator staff, 05 SGB appointees. Our driving values are Commitment, Accountability and Respect.

Through their involvement in extracurricular activities, community service initiatives, and leadership roles, they have made a positive impact on the lives of others and helped to foster a culture of excellence and service.
As we reflect on the achievements of our Dux learners over the past two decades, we celebrate their remarkable accomplishments and the indelible mark they have left on our school and the world.
